  • Bachelor’s in Design (B. Des)
  • Bachelor’s in Architecture (B. Arch)
  • Bachelor's in Fine Arts (BFA) [Fine Arts or Applied Arts]
  • Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor’s in Media Management (BMM)
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering (BE)

Any student with a Bachelor’s degree is eligible for admission.

The admission is subject to

  • A Common Entrance Test
  • Portfolio & Statement of Purpose
  • Interview

It is preferred that the students are familiar with using software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe

 

Admission Process

The Admission Process for this program is in 3 stages:

  • Stage 1: Submission of Completed Admission Application Form (an accompanying documents) with Statement of Purpose and Portfolio (50 + 50 = total 100 marks)
  • Stage 2: Written examination (100 marks)
  • Stage 3: Interview (100 marks)
  • Total Marks: 300

STEP 1: 
Submission of Admission Application Form with Statement of Purpose and Portfolio

Admission Application Form:

A CV or resume highlighting your relevant experience and accomplishments is desirable. Transcripts: You'll need to submit official transcripts from all previously attended institutions, along with certificates and mark sheets.

Statement of Purpose (50 marks): This is a crucial document where you outline your academic goals, research interests, and why you're a good fit for the program (Not more than 700 words)

Portfolio (50 marks): An A3 PDF of your portfolio for review (Not more than 20 sheets). Candidates who score 50 marks and above are eligible for the written exam min 500 max 700 words. Candidates who score 50 marks and above are eligible for the written exam.

STEP 2:
Shortlisted candidates qualify for the CXD Written Examination

The written Examination will test the following:

  • Knowledge of education system.
  • Knowledge of contemporary art, art history, Aesthetics, and Educational Psychology.
  • Problem solving and creative ability.
  • Knowledge of future technology interventions in art education.

The examination will be a mix of MCQs (multiple choice questions) and some will require the candidate to sketch out their ideas. (100 marks) Candidates who score 50 marks and above are eligible for the interview

STEP 3:
Shortlisted candidates will qualify for the interview. (100 marks)

STEP 4:
1st list released followed by final list commencement of Course
